I remember ten years ago dad wanting to get the family together on Thanksgiving Day and no one giving in to help him with his desire. I still remember mom coming downstairs to wake me up early saying the hospital had called and we needed to get there quick. We didnt get there quick enough as dad had already passed away by the time we got there. Phone calls were made and even though it took a good portion of the day to accomplish it... dad got his wish ~those of us in Utah together for Thanksgiving... even if it was sitting in a hospital room rather than around a dinner table. We miss you dad! And yes, we still try to get together.

Cha... no camera
We had yet another sisters outingonly this time we were minus two
sisters with Denise too far away
and Kathee out with the flu bug.
I cant believe I forgot to bring my
camera, so I took this with my cell
phone. I was going to take pic's
of our plates of food, but we had
eaten all of it before I thought of
that. We ate at Boston's in
Layton. The food wasnt too bad
but a little pricey for my taste buds.
I so love getting away and spending some extra time just as
sisters. Thank you guys!

Super Saturday is come and gone

Since Relief Society is my life these days I thought I should postsome pictures taken at Super Saturday. Lori and Misty did an
amazing job planning for this HUGE activity! It was incredibly
supported and those who came got to enjoy many crafts,
sharing stations, quilting, classes, yummy food, door prizes and
even a FREE wonderful half hour massage!
The lady in the last picture with me is 100 yrs old and she even
took advantage of the massage.
All in all I would say the day was a great hit!
Thank you Lori and Misty!!

Eeny, Meany, Miney... Toe

We had our second "sisters breakfast"... only today we had lunch rather than breakfast. We missed Denise again (sorry) and began to think that maybe Mimi had forgotten about it, but come to find out she had been stranded with a flat tire until Bruce came to the rescue. Thank you Bruce! We enjoyed a great meal at Wingers in Kaysville along with TONS of good conversation and laughter and even some out of control laughter that turned to tears. We then moved all the fun outside to take our "blog picture"! No one wanted their mugs photographed again so we decided on feet and toes this time. See if you can guess whose are whose! Oh, so much fun. And yes Den, we will think about coming your way for an extended lunch sometime soon!!

Indian Summer Fun
Saturday was such a gorgeous day! I feel like I missed most
of the nice summer days, so it was nice to have one back to
enjoy. Leah, Lydie and I spent some time running errands,
playing at Cheese Park and even did some RS stuff!

Check him out....
I finally have my email connection back... it was lost for a few days. Kellie and Steve left for the hospital on Thursday night around 9:30pm. As soon as they left... substitute mom became my middle name. Spencer came only a few hours later at 12:37am on the 10th. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 4ozs and 20 inches long. I always knew that being a mom was not a job for the faint of heart or the weak in spirit but for those with stamina, patience, long suffering and unconditional love.... but I have a whole new respect for what moms do all day long... and into the night. I'm not so sure it's a job I will ever be cut out for, but I always LOVE the time I get to spend with Leah and Lydie... and they were SOOOOOO AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL for me. I am so blessed... I love living so close and getting to see them so often. Life is so good!

3 words 4 U... I Love You!
Don't ask me why this clip doesn't fit in the column like it should... but whether it does or not... it doesn't change how much I love this song!
Sometimes that's all that needs to be said - I love you! And I do.
Sometimes that's all that needs to be said - I love you! And I do.
from a distance...
I heard this song for the first time today. The artists name is Taylor Swift. I love the words much more than the video. It would seem for me that love will always be... from a distance.
My kinda day... "if only"
