My sister found a picture of these rice krispie easter baskets in a magazine one day. I decided I would make some - since they were so cute! I got the best ever recipe from my niece, Emily, and made the attempt. In the first 15 min I wanted to give up the cute idea and just mash the krispie into a pan and eat them. I held out... once the krispie stuff firmed up a bit it was much easier. By Easter Sunday I could make one in a few seconds. The recipe is so great they were even still soft a week later. I was happy they turned out especially after the bad experience of trying to mold candy canes into heart suckers for Valentines! I will attempt that again... but glad it wont be for awhile.
